Tá m’fhuil Éireannach, my body is not.

An eighteen minute long soundscape work. The audio weavers between my grandfather teaching me the Irish national anthem and a binural soundwalk I took up Mount Pelier Hill known as the Hell Fire Club. Exploring my cultural identity through the Gaelic language and familiar ecological soundscape of the Dublin mountains, the work culminates with my own performance of the folk rebel song Óró, sé do bheatha bhaile in the ruins of an old english lord's hunting lodge that sits at the summit of the hill.
